Following our service in the USMC, we were determined to find a place to slow down and enjoy life. we did just that when we stumbled upon this breathtaking land that captured our hearts. The Grand Canyon Mesa Preservation Foundation is devoted to the long-term protection and revitalization of the Grand Canyon’s mesa landscapes. We work at the intersection of ecological stewardship, cultural respect, and sustainable living to preserve one of the world’s most iconic natural environments.
Our conservation efforts focus on restoring the health and resilience of the land through hands-on ecological projects such as native tree planting, reforestation, meadow-scaping, and soil restoration. These initiatives support native wildlife, reduce erosion, and promote biodiversity across the fragile high desert plateaus.
We are committed to reducing environmental impact through education and action—supporting low-emission living, encouraging the use of renewable energy like solar, and promoting sustainable water use in off-grid communities. Our programs help individuals, land stewards, and visitors adopt responsible practices that minimize carbon footprints while enhancing the region’s natural beauty.
In collaboration with Indigenous communities, scientists, local residents, and public land agencies, we foster ethical tourism and stewardship.
